The roughers then mill the sliced edges and make it ready for gluing. This type is used for binding annual reports, thick magazines, etc. Documents of thickness ranging from 1/8ʺ and more could be bound using perfect binding. The next type of coil binding is crush-resistant and includes a plastic which is spring-shaped. The books could be laid flat and folded easily.
